Express Cheer is thrilled to be an official Jr. DCC training facility for the DFW area! The program was founded and created to serve as a community outreach initiative, offering area youth, ages 5-12, the opportunity to be a part of the world class Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders organization and experience the thrill of being a DCC!
Each team will have the opportunity to perform at some of the same events as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders!
Other appearances/performances may include The Dallas Christmas Parade, Frisco Holiday Parade, local sporting events, and MORE!

Caroline Sundvold â DCC 2018-2023
Caroline is originally from Columbia, Missouri, where she grew up training in all dance styles at Columbia Performing Arts Center. Competing in the competition circuit for 10 years, Caroline also trained with Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet in New York City. She went on to join the University of Missouri Golden Girls dance team in college, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking. In 2018, Caroline auditioned for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and completed five seasons with the squad, serving as group leader for her final two 2 seasons. Other accolades include being named the 2017/2018 Rookie of the Year and 2022/2023 Veteran of the Year.
She was recently featured on Netflixâs âAmericaâs Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleadersâ.
While excelling in her current career in medical device sales in DFW, Caroline continues to teach and choreograph for various dance studios and organizations around the country.
Caroline is excited to work with the Junior Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and share her expertise with the future generation of successful performers!
Kat Puryear â DCC 2019-2023
Originally from Charlotte, NC, and now thriving in Dallas, Kat Puryear is a dynamic force wearing many hats with grace and style! Kat is the breakout star on the new Netflix series “America’s Sweethearts: The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.” She cheered for the Cowboys from 2019 to 2023, with an additional year as an All-Star, making her tenure with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders an impressive five consecutive years. During her time with the team, she served as a group leader and was known as the ultimate hype woman, always keeping team morale at its peak!
With over a decade of professional dance experience in both the NBA and NFL, Kat has seamlessly transitioned her passion and energy into the world of commercial real estate. As the new leasing manager for Bay Space – DFW, she is dedicated to helping her clients find their perfect industrial warehouse spaces in the DFW area.
In her free time, Kat directs the Jr. Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders at multiple locations, passionately instilling confidence in young women. She also loves spending time with her cat, Arlo, and embarking on scuba adventures with her boyfriend, Nigel. Kat’s journey is a testament to her versatility, passion, and unyielding drive to inspire and succeed!
